ABOUT US
Tullimbah Inn - History
The 'Tullimbah Inn' has a long local history as a rural store and post office established in the mid to late 19th century to cater for the increased populace brought about by the subdivision of the large land grant estates into farms. It regained its historic commercial use in the 1970's, after being used as a residence. It is a prominently sited late Victorian era structure on the main route to the Illawarra Escarpment, and although altered it retains the architectural characteristics of the period and within a rural setting. It is rare locally as it is one of the few extant 19th century commercial buildings in the Shellharbour City Council area.
